Delirium 2.30 New Feature
=========================

One of the new features of this version of Delirium is a cunning way to
save on CPU usage - handy for those people who, for example, run RC5
clients.

From the outside, it looks very similar to the last version of Delirium,
and in normal use it is. However, it now monitors the activity of the
ScreenBlanker module:

If a saver is running and the ScreenBlanker blanks the screen, then
Delirium will stop the saver effect. (It does this without changing
screen mode back to the desktop mode, as this will unblank the screen.)

When the screen is unblanked by the ScreenBlanker, Delirium will restore
the desktop mode, and fade in smoothly.

So - what you can do is set the ScreenBlanker to blank after (say) 30
minutes, while Del has a normal time of about 5 minutes. That way, in
normal use you get to see the nice pretty CPU hogging effect from
Delirium - but if you leave your computer for a prolonged period then
the ScreenBlanker cuts in and the CPU is relinquished for other tasks.
