Crusade: Fight for Power is a strategy game set on a medevil battleground.
The game is icon driven, Which is a nice change from all the menu driven ones
that have come out in the past. The object of the game is to build up your
armies, gold and land and onlt the expert strategist will be ablr to rule the
land.

The sound in the game is great, Though I found that the background music was
a bit annoying after awhile, Which is easily fixed by going into options and
turning it off. Whenever you click on a character (Just like Warcraft) you'll
hear a 'Ready For Duty' etc, Which makes the game a little more interesting.
When you enter Towns or a building of some sort, The sound environment chang-
es depending on where you are, So if your in a town, You'll hear dogs barking
and horses galloping.

The graphics in the game are pretty average. When you are on the map, Things
look really blocky and there really is not much detail in any of the characte-
rs or surrounding environments. At some points in the game, Movies pop on the
screen with real actors playing the parts, All with excellent costumes. Other
graphics that are worth mentioning are the screens which are displayed when
you enter a dwelling of some sort, It will show an excellent picture of the
building you are in and it helps make the game more visually exciting.

There are alot of characters you can hire in the game like Dragons and
Magicians, But of course they are very expensive and you need to be at a
certain level to be able to buy them. You also need to be carefull who you
associate with in the game, Because some of the NPC players actually have
sickness like the plague.

The games controls are pretty basic, You have the options of using only a
mouse, If you try to load the game without a mouse driver, It just will not
work at all. The game is run by a series of icons and point and click move-
ments with the mouse. The game also supports modem and network play, But I'm
not sure if it can equal up to Warcraft 2 in the least.

All in all, The game is not that bad, My first impression was it sucked, But
after I gave it a chance and played it for awhile, I found that the game is
actually quite enjoyable and will most likely give you alot of good gameplay.

Here Are a two codes you can use at the opening menu for harder levels and
more players: MAGIC, CASTLE
